One of the outcomes of the #openscience Retreat '24 was the petition "A Future-Proof Approach to Open Access Publishing in The Netherlands". The petition + list of the 408 first signatories is now
shared with the UKB Consortium, the
Universities of the Netherlands and SURF who negotiate jointly with
national and international publishers about licenses for digital
information sources. We hope this can
inspire the negotiations.
