Paying with making backgrounds sink into the background, and foregrounds pop into the foreground.
Getting back into old projects. Warming up with creating more enemies for that rpg im going to make someday.
Do i have a cohesive idea for the rpg enemies? No. Am i going to let that stop me? Also no.

I was trying to draw a pig. Sometimes what you want to draw, and what wants to be drawn just don't align.

@RedGlow @YoSoyFreeman Tbh, the godot documentation writing guidelines are really good.
Imo good docs should:
* cover everything the user needs to self teach/implement
* cover all the fields/buttons/actions so you don't have to ask dev to dig into the code in 3 years when everyone has forgotten what they were for.
* be consistent ( style, format, layout)
* easy to skim
* cross linked
* no jargon
* no marketing words / subjective statements (easy, simply)
* intended functionality only
@YoSoyFreeman as as someone who pays the bills as a tech writer I agree 100%. So many times I point to godot docs for examples of docs done well.
Art tip: if you keep making your thing consistently and confidently enough, no one will be able to tell if it's not supposed to look like that.
I love reading ancient cuneiform tablets. Classics such as "Fuck you, this copper sucks." (Ea Nasir), "I should get more new clothes, my dad's employee gets new clothes twice a month and it's embarrassing.", and of course "The sesame harvest will die — let nobody say I did not warn you!", which is absolutely a set up for "Per my last clay tablet.".
Social media & email may be part of the problem. But if we're still like this when we have to carve our petty bullshit into clay then it's clear that we're the problem. It's us.
i have a demo playable, i need help xx
A new biome for my lil platformer.
I was going to call this one 'Sugar Metal Dreams' but I might reserve that name for something with a stronger metal presence.
Very inspired by the pillars this tile set is generating and hoping that the red walls and rails stand out enough to indicate intractable objects.
Always concerned that everything is too busy. But I committed to an art style and there is no turning back now.
reworking the intro i hope its nice
I’ve been kicking butt and taking names for awhile now and I’m not sure what to do with all these names. Do I need to get a filing cabinet? Should I be storing them alphabetically or by date they were taken? How long do I need to hold on to them for tax purposes? Kind of a hassle really.
I think I might finally be ready to actually build some levels. Figured out all the comfortable jump distances and platform transitions.
Saved a bunch of basic shapes as patterns on the tile map!
@ephesossh I have very much been enjoying seeing the sketches along with the pixle art.
@pink_arcana profile pic is awesome!
What kind of cheese do you use for an existential meltdown?
