Another shot from my walk yesterday. I took this with my phone as well. I couldn't pass up capturing those beams of light.

Sometimes when I am out on a walk I don't bring my camera. I always seem to regret it and find amazing opportunities.

I was on a walk and noticed this tree in full bloom. I had to come back with my camera and do a shoot with it. I am still learning to edit, but I think I did a good job enhancing the colors of the tree. Any feedback is welcome

A large tree covered in light pink and white blossoms stands in front of a dark wooden fence. Fallen petals scatter across the grass below, and green trees frame the background under an overcast sky.
This is a photo from my trip to Malta earlier this year. I wanted to capture this tower standing by itself.

A small tower standing on a blue sky with sparse clouds. The ground has scrub grass and is a tan, rocky surface
A shift in tone with this one—vivid color and dense texture rather than mood and shadow. This wild teasel immediately caught my eye with its alien structure and sharp form. I’m experimenting with how to bring out complex natural details like this, and open to any editing or shooting feedback.

Shot handheld and lightly adjusted for brightness and color.

Close-up of a wild teasel plant with a dense cluster of spiny bracts and small purple flowers beginning to bloom at the top. The background is a blur of green grass and foliage, drawing focus to the plant’s intricate texture and sharp details
Thanks! Time-consuming things like that never seem to stick with me, but I may look into it none-the-less!
I wasn’t fully satisfied with this one, but I’m posting it anyway to learn.

The statue had presence in person, but the scene was naturally dark, and I wasn’t sure how to approach the edit.

Open to any feedback—especially around exposure, tone, and how to bring more structure out in shadow-heavy scenes.

A stone statue of a seated dog on a pedestal, positioned above an ornate iron gate. The statue is framed by overhanging trees, with tangled branches and diffused light from an overcast sky in the background. The lighting is dim and shadowed, making the statue appear somber and muted.
That egret is great.
A shift from my usual scenes—this time, trying to capture movement and timing instead of stillness.

I had the chance to attend the Paris 2024 Olympics, and this ended up being one of the better shots I caught.

I'd love any feedback, especially around editing—color, contrast, or clarity.

A gymnast in a green leotard leaps gracefully across a balance beam during the Paris 2024 Olympics. The arena is brightly lit with a blue and teal color scheme, and multiple photographers and cameramen are capturing the moment from below. The gymnast is midair with arms extended, and the stands are partially filled with spectators.
A quieter photo today. Snow breaking down into slush and dirt, trees bare, and everything wrapped in that soft winter stillness.

I gave this one a very light contrast boost—mainly to bring out the texture in the path and trees. Still figuring out what makes these kinds of shots feel “finished,” so I’d love any feedback—especially on tone and mood.

A winter forest scene featuring a snow-covered dirt path winding through leafless trees. The snow is partially melted and trampled, revealing patches of mud and dead leaves. The trees are bare, and the overcast sky gives the photo a muted, subdued atmosphere. The image has been slightly edited for contrast.
Another shot from the same abandoned structure.

I gave this one a very light contrast boost, just enough to try and bring out some of the color without going too far. Would love additional feedback on what good next steps are?

Really cool, how did you get that highly stylized, saturated effect?
I am fairly new to photography, and even newer to editing photos. I figure I would post this photo from a recent hike on here and see if anyone has feedback on what edits they would make the enhance it.

Another shot from my first shoot with the new camera. When editing this one, I wanted to make it feel warmer than the original. A lot of my edits have been darker or flatter.

I did a photoshoot with Monk. What a handsome lad

I started to play with photography, I got a new camera and walked around taking pictures and editing them. This is my first attempt.
