Some thirty years ago, my girlfriend at the time planted this crabapple as a gift to my grandmother. The plants seem a little confused about the season. The forsythia I cut last week thinks it is spring. The "Christmas" cactus just has no idea. I'm just happy to see flowers.

It's a good day to cut forsythia branches to force. In about a week, you will have beautiful yellow flowers. Just cut them, stick them in a jar and add some warm water. It's a favourite March Break activity at my house.
