@OliviaVespera@spacey.space ohhh, gotcha lol. I just found an app that uses cellular automata to interpret the camera feed from your phone. You just set the parameters and it does what it does. I didn't invent this implementation I just found it and thought it was neat

Basically cellular automation is a computational model where you have a grid of cells that can either be on or off and they update dynamically based on the states of the neighboring cells. It gets used in biology and physics and math. But here it's being used to turn a photo into some fancy pixel art!
