@alijla2021 on twitter

Via Scott Long. I've uploaded my entire library of books on Palestine/Israel to the cloud, in digital form so you can access them. It's a little over 1700 books, a lot of them good and important, some of them historical or political curiosities. Nearly all are in English, I'm afraid. You can download any that interest you individually, or the whole library (about 13 GB). feel free to share drive.google.com/drive/mobile/?

@johntimaeus@sysad.ninja I would not suggest that involved parties would participate. My vision would be for the models that come out of the think tank would be rationale and would be based on facts, history, and religious "requirements". But you are correct, the most affected parties might not want to implement the modeled solution.

Why can't we form an international think tank of brilliant minds in all fields (data, technology, theology, science, military) along with AI and ML experts to model solutions to the Middle East conflict?
What other areas of expertise would we need for this think tank?

"This is where you wind up when you view this conflict in monochrome, as a clash of right v wrong. Israeli novelist and peace activist Amos Oz was never wiser than when he described the Israel/Palestine conflict as something infinitely more tragic: a clash of right v right. Two peoples with deep wounds, howling with grief, fated to share the same small piece of land.

So, this is not a football game. There are no winners โ€“ only never-ending loss."

My whole political position right now is, don't kill innocents. Don't kill children.

Don't kill them!! not with assault rifles, not in retaliation, not with bombs, not with lousy public health policy.

Do not kill them, just do not do it! Can we all just get behind this one thing.

New paper on Masks:

Some claim scientific studies show masks donโ€™t work, or that surgical masks are as good as N95s. Just released paper shows this claim is false. Masks work, and N95 respirators give a much higher benefit than surgical masks.

The controversy about N95 respirator and mask efficacy is based on claims that studies (RCTs and meta-analyses) have no observed effect. Our paper shows these claims result from the use of incorrect mathematical equations.

Thank you for engaging! I see your point, and will not give money (won't buy a Tesla even though Tesla has given a lot of job training and jobs in my city)
But I think it is dangerous for us that care to not listen to people when they tell us who they are (ie , ). On social, as opposed to mainstream media, people tell us exactly who they are and, more importantly, what they are going to do.
It is a tough decision for me.
