I don’t think it will all fit in there.

To be extra clear, homelessness is what makes layoffs effective as a threat and punishment. And in the USA, withholding health care also plays a large part. These are all escalating levels of violence to the same end of making work compulsory so that they can dictate what work you do, when, where, and to whose benefit.

That power to compel and dictate work is what capital is. Money is only a loose proxy for capital, and they will sacrifice enormous amounts of money to retain and expand their power.

Got a letter saying all my students loans have been forgiven under #PSLF program. I am in disbelief. I checked my servicer website to double check and, sure enough, my balance says $0. Y'all. That's 165K in student loans to get my BS, MS, and EdD. It doesn't feel real.

Being stuck in the house, unable to do much for myself, has poorly aligned with the time of year when my depression symptoms are at their worst. I feel sad and lonely and like a burden but there's nothing I can do but push thru. Send me fun shows to binge watch.

I very nearly fell in the parking lot at PT this morning. If SO hadn't been there to catch me, I 100% would have bitten it. I was way more shook up about that than I expected.
