I am at Stadium Club at Dodger Stadium and wanted you to know.

≤2019: we are all just thinking machines being carted around by primitive meat chassis 🧐
2025: sometimes I think about each little cell of our bodies working hard to metabolize and turn materials of one kind into another kind, and I feel like a glorious and miraculous community of beings. every inhale of oxygen that becomes an exhale of carbon dioxide is a testament to that wonder. I am so proud of my body for defying entropy day after day, moment after moment
@Jackgiantkiller conviction, human weaknesses or compulsions that make them easy to connect with, magnetic / charismatic making them have a large following or being popular.
Given the rise of AI and vibe shift in employer-employee relationships in tech, I’ve lost all interest in encouraging my son to follow me into tne tech industry. I used to have misgivings about his interests in sports and related careers but now they’re gone.
It seems I’m not alone.
@PTR_K
Not really what you are asking for, but I am very fond of the Starship Geomorphs by Robert Pearce. But they are for sections of starships or space stations or ground buildings at that sort of tech level.
Which probably isn't what you mean by "otherworldy elven city."
(Note that while they are designed for the #Traveller Space #ttrpg, they aren't particularly specific to that game or setting.)

Today, February 14, 2016, is the birthdate of the replicant known as Pris. Bioengineered humans created by Tyrell Corporation for cheap labor have implanted memories and a built-in four-year lifespan to prevent them from developing empathetic abilities (Blade Runner, 1982)
