If that's truly the case, I will NOT be buying GTA 6 no matter how "good" it supposedly is. I am NOT spending 160 dollars (USD -> CAD + 13% Sales Tax) on a GAME.

Someone needs to tell Roblox developers how to make a good Tower Defense game... why is the difficulty curve so wonky in many of the most popular Tower Defense games. I am on like round 2 and I'm already being smashed into pieces... on easy difficulty.

It appears Character AI is currently suffering some sort of internal-based security vulnerability. It appears that many users have had their sessions switched to be under the same account (based on character history.)

The chatting part spits out a 404 error when trying to go to it. Moderators on the SubReddit are deleting some posts critical of the platforms launch and response to the failure that it was.

AzateixAI released after many delays, immediately has security vulnerabilities allegedly leaking user information, the developers and staff crash out by slinging obscenities and slurs towards their users, then they delete the Discord server.

This outcome was sorta to have been expected, but still...

A notice provided by my browser when attempting to access the Azateix website. The notice begins by saying "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" added by "Zen Browser detected a potential security threat and did not continue to chat.azateix.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, email, or credit card details." In the advanced section it says "chat.azateix.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. Error code: EMOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT"A screenshot of the chat.azateix.com website minutes after first launching, it's a completely empty website except for small black text that says "OUR DB GOT LEAKED OMG ALSO SAME FOR THE WEBSITE SOURCEtouch index.html"A post on the (now deleted) AzateixAI Discord server by a staff member of the website. The user is responding to a message that says "how tf can you not afford an ssl cert and proper site encryption but claim to have 1M context models [r-slur censored]" Their response is "yo shut yo bitch ass up [n-slur censored] look at your fucking pfp why is this mf think he is good at IT" (Addition by me: wow, what a projection.)A post on the r/aztx subreddit for the platform after the Discord server had been deleted. The title of the post says "Gather here everyone from Discord" and further says "We got a subreddit to burn" in the body of the post.

Thought I would share my thoughts about the upcoming event The Haunt on since I had brought up their previous events like The Games and The Classic.

Honestly, I am not really hopeful for this event. The previous ones proved to be very mediocre, and this is likely just going to be a repeat.

It appears Big Micro-transactions... I mean Big Games has released a new game called PETS GO! Played it for around 2 hours 30 minutes and I can say that... its just Sols RNG but Pet Simified... or in other words its Pet Simulator if you JUST had the egg hatching part.

Think there needs to be a collective discussion about where the line is drawn between what's considered acceptable usage and what's otherwise unacceptable usage of AI because right now its a mess.

Post AI image? That's bad. Redraw the prior AI image just in your style? That's alright.

I've seen people argue that redrawing it shows that humans can curate what AI is able to do whilst being "better" in the process. Okay? At the end of the day the post you're quoting and the image you're redrawing still got like 200k likes and reposting it only gives them more attention.

Are you really proving anything good when redrawing AI generated images? You're only proving imo that its worth paying attention to and taking the time to re-curate.

It appears that POLYAI LTD has finally decided to sue the people behind the POLY AI chatbot for "willful and intentional unauthorized use of the POLY.AI trademark,"

They allege that confusion between the two parties has already occurred and caused negative repercussions towards them.

Defendant has been using the virtually identical POLY.AI mark for and in connection with a conversational AI app in commerce in a manner that infringes upon the rights Plaintiff has in and to POLYAI trademark, and that competes unfairly in the marketplace with Plaintiff's services, thereby inflicting substantial injury to Plaintiff. Defendant's willful and intentional unauthorized use of the POLY.AI trademark, which is a colorable imitation of the trademark used by Plaintiff in connection with Plaintiff's own conversational AI goods/services is done in a manner to imply, deceptively and confusingly, that the services which Defendant markets, distributes and offers for sale are in some way associated with, licensed by or otherwise authorized or sponsored by Plaintiff, which is untrue.Defendant knew that its POLY.AI and POLYS.AI marks for the goods in the '617 Application, respectively, were likely to confuse consumers into believing that Defendant and/or its goods were somehow sponsored by, related to, or affiliated with Plaintiff and its services. Therefore, on January 16, 2024, Defendant expressly abandoned the '617 Application and the '579 Application.Not only is confusion likely, it has already occurred. Over the several months, Plaintiff has received a number of reviews and queries from consumers who have been confused into believing that Defendant is somehow associated or affiliated with Plaintiff, which is not true. Among such communications are requests for demonstration copies or Plaintiff's software believing it was Defendant's software, as well as offers to partner with Defendant, all of which were directed to Plaintiff instead of Defendant. On or around July 10, 2024, a consumer even submitted a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) in which she tagged Plaintiff using Plaintiff's handle (@polyaivoice) and then proceeded to accuse Plaintiff of facilitating sexual communications with minors by including what appears to be screenshots from Defendant's software. Attached hereto as Exhibit G is a true and correct printout of this post. Such acts lead to substantial and irreparable injury to the public and to Plaintiff's business reputation and goodwill. Defendant has otherwise competed unfairly with Plaintiff by unlawfully trading on and using a mark that is identical and/or confusingly similar to Plaintiff's POLYAI mark without Plaintiff's permission or consent.
