AWS extends the CloudWatch alarm history from 14 to 30 days. That's a tiny change but definitely helpful when it comes to evaluate the thresholds of an alarm to avoid too many alerts.

@andreas Feel your pain when AWS is going EOL with a service/feature and do not have one with proper feature-parity. As for pricing, I would say they are actually raising the price for the customers, even it does not look like that from the price list. If you have good contacts within AWS I would try to push them on both these things.
