Derzeit läuft eine Nextcloud auf meinem NAS im Intranet. Mit allem nötigen Adminwahn, wenn mal was nicht klappt. So wie aktuell die Fotosicherung unserer Smartphones (ständig fehlen Fotos). Also Umzug zu Managed Nextcloud. Im Auswahlverfahren:

* IONOS ab 11,50 € für 1 TB + Collabora (ohne SSL)
* Hetzner ab 5,11 € für 1 TB, 16,89 € für 5 TB
* Wolkesicher ab 3,99 € für 1 TB, 14,99 für 3 TB
* Hosting de z.B. 9,90 € für 2 TB

Funktional unterscheiden die sich durchaus (z.B. (kein) Backup, Collabora/OnlyOffice, (kein) OCC-Zugriff).

**IONOS: Eigene Domain umständlich, SSL-Verschlüsselung (!) kostet extra**

Gerade flog IONOS raus, denn eine eigene Domain beim anderen DNS-Provider ist schlecht bis gar nicht in der IONOS-Verwaltung dokumentiert und hat nicht geklappt. Weiterhin eine nicht mehr supportete Nextcloud-Version. Außer null Bock auf labernden KI-Chat stößt mir besonders auf: Für SSL-Verschlüsselung kommen im jährlichen Abo noch monatlich mind. 8 € obendrauf. Also beispielsweise statt 11,50 € bei 1 TB + Collabora dann 19,50 € mtl.

Für meine Zwecke reicht z.B. Let's encrypt. Laut Produktseite ist SSL bei Hetzner, Wolkesicher enthalten (Nachtrag: Hosting de auch).

Reddit sub r/pCloud is full of users complaining they can access other people files or had their own deleted. What a mess.

Do not trust this service. They either have an unacceptable bug or have been hacked quite badly.
