Any news regarding this issue ?
@davew I do not work at the W3C.
Maybe @koalie can help.
BTW: A relaunch of the website is scheduled for tomorrow:

@davew The W3C is no longer part of MIT. See https://www.w3.org/blog/news/archives/9823
@paula Natürlich sind die Zahlen niedrig. Es wird ja fast gar nicht mehr getestet. Ich kenne selbst mehrere Long-Covid Betroffene. Das möchte man nicht haben.

What’s become apparent to me it’s not enough to advocate for Mastodon and call it a day.
Decentralization is going to be a fight within the Fediverse too.
Not everyone on Mastodon wants decentralization. Instead, they want Mastodon to “win”—and “winning” means crushing everything else.
https://csarven.ca/okieli-dokieli is about dokieli with loads of info for someone coming at this new or interested in history.
dokieli is a socially-aware clientside editor for decentralised article publishing, annotations and social interactions with an ocean of open web standards at its disposal.
I made the first commit to dokieli 10 years ago. I built what I needed, and use it (still). This is the story of procrastination of epic proportions, making connections, and having fun.
Sunday 30 April was the 30th anniversary of the release of the Web into the public domain, for general use, and at no cost. Coralie Mercier noted that this quiet gesture, was advocated by Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and has changed our lives.

The archives of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg ("Nuremberg Trials") are now online.
Stanford University Library has made the Taube Archive of the International Military Tribunal (IMT) at Nuremberg, 1945-46 available in full, for free, online.
The collection includes complete audio recordings, multilingual transcripts, evidence submitted by the prosecution and the defence, photographs, and ca. 250,000 of digitised documents.

I'm just saying: the launch of
@wikipedia
@wikidata
@wikiresearch
nableDev
@wikisusdev
and @mediawiki ...
All that does feel like some big new steps.
So does moving to integrate Mastodon identify verification into #Wikimedia software itself.
"The end goal is that I can put e.g. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Legoktm as a URL item and Mastodon will be able to verify it."
I'm going to be watching this VERY closely and supporting it however I can .👀
German news website @heiseonline has been very active on the #fediverse, now the second largest news account. Editor @mho has extensively documented the process.
Findings compared to their (6x sized) Twitter account:
Way higher engagement than Twitter
Website traffic slightly below Twitter
Valuable information for any news organisation that is debating whether to leave Twitter, and which platform to join instead!

A recurring #LinkedData / #RDF question: In German, French and many other languages, names for roles, occupations etc. encode the genus/(grammatical) gender, e.g. "Autor"/"Autorin" for "author". Lots of controlled vocabularies contain such roles. Is there a best practice to mark different labels (m, f, gender-neutral) in RDF, especially #SKOS?
The challenges of shadow IT in a bring-your-own-cloud world https://www.silverliningsinfo.com/hybrid/shadow-it-and-cloud by @sjvn
For me, shadow IT started by bringing a luggable Compaq Portable to work. Today, people "bring" in their own #cloud services. Then and now, IT must learn to deal with it, and, sometimes, adapt to it.
