@oscherler Sure. Just saying that there can be valid reasons, but I fully agree that it is mostly not required and foremost very annoying.
@rsalmond Related to SSO logins where they want to redirect some users to their respective SSO endpoints while showing the password field to others, I guess.
If implemented right, a password manager can pre-fill the hidden password; for example, vault.bitwarden.com lets me insert the username and password in one step even though it's visually two steps in their frontend.

@martin_schillig No, I'm using clubdesk.ch at the moment. It's ok, but quite expensive, especially as we don't need most of its features.
Went down the rabbit hole of beancount (https://beancount.github.io/) tonight, while looking for simple alternatives to fulfil my duties as a bookkeeper for a small Swiss association.
I found https://awesome-beancount.com/ so far, but a real life example for my use case would be much appreciated.
Was hilft? Basic Auth: https://opsone.ch/de/blog/angriff-innert-sekunden-wieso-basic-authentication-bei-uns-standardmaessig-aktiviert-ist

Welcome to a new browser!
> Ladybird uses a brand new engine based on web standards, without borrowing any code from other browsers. It started as a humble HTML viewer for the SerenityOS hobby project, but since then it's grown into a full cross-platform browser project supporting Linux, macOS, and other Unix-like systems. — https://ladybird.org/announcement.html
This is good for the Web!
Slack is now using all content, including DMs, to train LLMs.
They offer a thing they're calling an "opt-out."
The opt-out (a) is only available to companies who are slack customers, not end users, and (b) doesn't actually opt-out.
When a company account holder tries to opt-out, Slack says their data will still be used to train LLMs, but the results won't be shared with other companies.
LOL no. That's not an opt-out. The way to opt-out is to stop using Slack.

And that concludes the TYPO3camp Switzerland🇨🇭. Thank you for a great second day and the platform to present our own @typo3 extension "MaMo - Managed Monitoring" from the +Pluswerk location Dortmund Cloud Hosting Mobilistics (left side of the picture). Many thanks to the organizers Manuel Glauser, David Höckele and @andri (left to right, top right) - it was a Barcamp as it should be. 🧑🏽💻🤝🎉

Two weeks ago, we had a good and productive time at the TYPO3 community sprint in Düsseldorf. Now, we have published our report about the jobs finished there, and previously:
