Received this phishing attempt today by txt message. I’m pretty experienced at spotting these things but the big give away in this one was the fact that there is no way that PostNL and DHL are sending notifications from the same bloody number!

@deshipu same. I’m literally seeing pushes to create projects with AI as a starting point rather than using AI to solve customer problems. It’s really annoying. It’s coming right from the top too which furthers my opinion that the whole push for AI is just some kind of pyramid scheme designed to pad the bank accounts of the early investors in OpenAI and Nvidia.

Chopped the PCB in half tonight and wired up the buttons to low profile key switches. Just need to see if I can get the scroll wheel working and then I can start thinking more seriously about the enclosure. Can’t decide how to keep it “original” while also being ergonomic and compact!

Project “wtf diy hacked trackball” is… moving I guess. Got some tiny bearings mounted and they’ve done a good job of reducing the friction.

@degroof it definitely goes downhill as the seasons go on but apparently season four will be coming out before long too. Still enjoyable and funny in places.

@rpimag recently finished working on a spit mechanical keyboard with a Pico in each side. I’m just about to start assembling a 30% staggered split version that has the Pico’s on display on top of the keyboard!
