@codinghorror @kudra @bugwhisperer @pluralistic @gruber @siracusa Apple misled the public on privacy until 2019 when they enabled E2E for iMessage for iCloud users. They really can't be trusted and seem good only comparatively.

It's got to the point where I can't even recommend these tools for simple jobs. The amount of technical debt these things are going to generate is beyond comprehension. They throw away decades of software and professional standards.
