Aug 4, First Bandcamp United Friday.

We raised the amount of Epic Games paid health insurance through COBRA, which is paramount for our comrades who need continual healthcare.

We also get to keep our computers, which has been very helpful for comrades who didn’t already have a personal device.

Over multiple bargaining sessions, we fought to make sure that our laid-off unit members would have as much security as possible, especially during the end of the year. We are proud to say that we negotiated a floor for salary that will protect our underpaid comrades in support, editorial, vinyl, and other operations roles. We also negotiated a lump sum bonus for those who are at the bottom of the salary range.

Details of severance agreement as proposed by Epic Games, vs. what we got:

Six months salary => Six months salary with a floor of $87K

Six month's paid COBRA => Nine month's paid COBRA

No bonus for underpaid workers => One-time bonus of $5K for workers making under $92K

Return company devices => Keeping company issued devices after they have been wiped of Company information

We are happy to announce that we voted yes (with a 100% participation rate!) on ratifying our severance agreement with Epic Games!
