@08956495 The Roku docs are pretty decent. Here's an example of a media server app I wrote. github.com/bcl/HMS if you want an example app. I make no claims to it being *right* but it does work for me :)

My friend @meonkeys wrote a book called, "Steadfast Self-hosting: Rapid Rise Personal Cloud" and 1) it is available for purchase! 2) I can already tell you that it's great because I got to read it early bc I wrote the foreword.

@irongeek Glad it is helpful!

@73CC @lps @eff If the quality is on par with previous shirts it should last pretty much forever. All the ones I have are good quality fabric and printing that stays around for decades of washing :)

Another blog post about my #conwaysgameoflife display project. This time I've automated, mostly, the setup of the software and building the binary on the Pi. brianlane.com/post/life-setup/

Just learned this morning that Bram Moolenaar, creator and maintainer of Vim, passed away recently at 62. I’ve been a user of Vim since my 20s, so even though I’ve never met Bram his work has been an important part of my life.

@jamuraa You could try giving the Fedora Workstation Live image a try. We just released Fedora 38 so it's full of recent fixes for various things :)

@andhab You may be able to decode it with a rtlsdr receiver. Hard to tell without more details, but try searching rtl-sdr.com/ for the manufacturer or other identifying strings.

@brett I'll probably post the code for that tomorrow, along with a blog post. I'm taking each half of the IPv4 and using it as a scaled x, y value and the data is the request and client string from the log XORed in an 8 byte buffer that loops. So you get an 8x8 bit splat at the location for each entry.
