Edit: Google have now ditched WEI, but this still shows why it's important to have competition in the browser space.

Over the past 9 months, there has been considerable coverage by journalists about the actions of Elon Musk running X (formerly Twitter). Surprisingly, despite their critical reporting, these journalists not only still utilize Twitter but also contribute to its relevancy by embedding tweets in their news articles.

It's quite interesting if we draw a parallel here - it's akin to a police officer who witnesses and reports a crime, yet chooses to aid the criminal while they are still in the act.
