Took a little break from the game jam to get AI pathfinding to work and after some frustration I got it to find a decent path towards the player. Godot has made finding these paths pretty damn easy but did not predict my level of buffoonery

Day 1 of #bevy game jam went decently. I have an idea formulated and a decent CI setup going thanks to the nice templates people provide on github. Game is called Chained and while there isn't a huge amount done yet, that will hopefully change tomorrow.

Gameplay is approaching just about functional, plenty more that needs to be done but it is decent progress. The enemy gets hit and the healthbar depletes so big win for me.

And now I have moving platforms working correctly. So damn happy with my progress today. Also changed up the models a bit to make em less sharp and adjusted the lighting. Going to spend tomorrow adding enemies and getting the combat started.

@VileLasagna been mostly using VSCode but in light of recent bullshit I've been tempted to use my neovim setup again, was fairly decently set up which takes away the daunting task of getting it right. Hope you find something that works for ya
