A commission from last year I hadn't posted yet, painted for Mango - his character Aelph tending to his greenhouse. I like drawing/painting specific, recognizable plants whenever possible rather than generic or fantasy plants, even though it's a lot more work because specific plants aren't any less difficult to draw than animals.

The scene is set inside a glass greenhouse. It's raining outside and water drops are trickling down the glass. A male anthropomorphic german shepherd dog in a gardener's apron is tending to a hanging pot of strawberry plants. He is surrounded by many other lush plants, including a passiflora in flower, basil, cucumber, dog roses and succulent plants.
