Joined the Kobo Krew! First up, The Employees by Olga Ravn. So far this book just might not be for me? I’m a hard sell with books that use format and structure as a narrative devise. But I like the creepy sci fi setting and the idea of examining workers in the future.

@blackmetalblackheart I’m absolutely wondering if I’m going to feel that way by the end of the series. Book 1 was rough but I was told to keep going. Book 2 I did enjoy! But things definitely need to pick up after Book 3…the audiobook narrator is good though, so I switched to that when I found myself zoning out!

It’s hard to review the third book in a series without spoilers, but despite this photo The Wasteland wasn’t a total snooze fest. It did take the human a little to get into it, and the middle was a bit of a slog. But I, Julien the cat, liked the bear and thought Blaine the train was a grumpy motherfucker. 3.5 on the 😻scale.
