Pippin has carefully raised herself out of the chair and is slinking atop the table edge, her head fairly low and one dark brown paw extended cautiously in front of her. It’s the kind of cat pose that goes along with being sneaky.

The bear videos I’ve posted have either been via the trailcam or through a window from inside the house.

Not this one. Yesterday was a sweltering 96°F so I decided to cool off in the brook. From the other side I heard a grunt and then rumbling and mashing of twigs and leaves. Then I saw a furry head. Obviously, something else was looking to cool off in the brook. 😂
