I'll be speaking at @crowdsupply
in just over a week!

I'll walk through how to automatically generate a database library based on part data stored in Aligni software.

@jrychter ok, I'll bite 😉 what's your favorite config file format and why?

@simon got it. thanks for making this tool, it’s exactly what I needed!

@simon I just found sqlite-diffable and was curious if there is a benefit to using this tool vs. just doing a .dump > textfile for storing the results in a git repo. (I'm assuming there are good reasons you made this tool, but as someone totally new to sqlite, it's not obvious to me what the differences are)

What naming convention do you use for symbols and footprints (land-patterns) in your libraries?

If you've wanted to try but weren't sure where to start, I wrote up a quick start tutorial that can help you get started on the $5 Pico 2 board--no other hardware or debuggers required!

I chatted with the embedded team at Raspberry Pi about the #RP2350 on The Amp Hour. It's an amazing "dual dual-core" part that is finding its way into many products. We chatted #hardwaresecurity and #lowpower, as those were key enhancements over the #RP2040.

@chris_gammell is there anything that you really want to accomplish that getting better at video editing is a dependency of/blocker for? I tend to naturally get better at things I don't care for (e.g. accounting) if they are necessary to achieve a larger goal that I REALLY care about (e.g. starting a LLC). I also find that those goals I care a lot about are things where I have a lot of agency (starting my own LLC), rather than something handed down/forced upon me (e.g. a work project).

I just had Kalbijjim for the first time and well... white people, we've been doing pot roast wrong.

For over 400 years, from the 14th to the 18th century, Kalbijjim (Braised Beef Short Ribs) was a dish reserved exclusively for the kings and royal families of the Joseon Dynasty. Today, Kalbijjim is enjoyed by everyone, but it remains a special dish in many Korean families, often served on significant occasions such as birthdays, holidays, and weddings.

I'm delighted to announce the first official stable release of ZMK Studio!

ZMK Studio provides runtime keymap functionality for ZMK powered devices, allowing you to make changes without the need to flash new firmware. It is a combination of major firmware enhancements paired with a new frontend application for interacting with your keyboard.
