Ich lerne nun seit 10 Jahren Koreanisch und habe in Wokabulary über 5000 Koreanisch-Deutsch Vokabeln gesammelt. Die habe ich nun nach Themen geordnet auf GitHub bereitgestellt.
Denn es gibt zwar viele englische Lernmaterialien für Koreanisch im Netz, aber kaum etwas auf Deutsch.

We have switched our vocabulary translation feature from DeepL to Apple Intelligence with the just released Wokabulary 7.4.
As Apple Intelligence runs on device it is much faster and works offline. But we also found the translation quality much better than DeepL.

When we use built-in fonts in SwiftUI, text scales automatically to match the user’s preferred size. But other elements, like images and symbols, also need to adapt to keep the layout balanced.

I wrote a post on handling images in a Dynamic Type environment, covering techniques to keep icons clear at larger text sizes, scale custom images appropriately, and exclude decorative images when needed: nilcoalescing.com/blog/Adaptin

I paid for Wipr 2 (kaylees.site/wipr2.html) instead of messing with free adblocking plugins. The internet is a much more usable place now. It’s so good!

I use ChatGPT for learning Korean. It is especially helpful for explaining grammar.
I wrote a short blog article on what I learned when learning languages with ChatGPT.

@bytewurm is learning Gaelic and shares his experience and learning resources on his blog. He uses Wokabulary to organize and practice his vocabulary.
We are always happy to see when Wokabulary helps users learn small or even endangered languages.

Scottish Gaelic only has around 50,000 active speakers and is considered endangered by Unesco. So, everybody who learns the language helps keep it alive. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last weekend, we finally published the all new "Wokabulary 6".
Wokabulary is an app to collect and practice your personal foreign language vocabulary. It is ideal for everybody learning a language in school, evening class, or in self study.

Over the last two years, we have re-written Wokabulary from scratch in pure #Swift and #SwiftUI. As a result, it runs smoothly on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch — with hardly any platform-specific code.

Just learned today that macOS includes simple in-place machine translation via the right-click menu (in native apps).
It supports all major European and Asian languages and even works offline! 🇺🇳

All the time I've wasted copying to and from DeepL!

Oh no! Look at all these Old Montréal businesses not generating any profit because of the streets being closed for cars. Utterly devastating move by the city to prevent people from accessing these businesses by having nowhere to park. How dare they doom the economy like this?
