@jyby Thank you! Fixed.
I am a Chilean computer scientist at the University of Stuttgart, researching Web and Data Science, knowledge graphs, and graph data. I write about multiple topics (also in Spanish, but as @daniel).
Do you know that there is a market for IPv4 addresses where prices are increasing? We really don't need a market for a scarce resource when we can use an alternative abundant resource like IPv6 addresses. Some big companies have bought large amounts of IPv4 addresses (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv4_address_exhaustion#Markets_in_IP_addresses). I don't think this market will benefit people, special in regions where the resource gets more scarce.
@jens2go @Nature @dyanilewis It is deplorable how something so valuable is not properly protected.
Brilliantly visualised @Nature essay by @dyanilewis, photography by Ulet Ifansasti, on the stunning 45,000 year-old #CavePaintings in #Sulawesi, Indonesia - now threatened by dissolution and irretrievable loss:

Unexpectedly stumbled on this giant troll sculpture while birdwatching in West Seattle! I knew there were new troll sculptures around; didnât know Iâd be seeing one today. đ

Do you know that GitHub does not support IPv6 yet? I noticed this when trying to clone a repository from an IPv6 only server. This is another reason open-source projects should start moving away from GitHub and not requiring us to depend on a single vendor.
đ˘ Job alert! đ˘
We have a PhD/postdoc position open at the Department of Computer Science of KU Leuven on #KnowledgeGraphs for #CulturalHeritage in the frame of the REEVALUATE Horizon Europe - RIA project to review the state of the art with respect to ontologies and #SemanticWeb for cultural heritage and contribute to the semantic representation of the artefactâs metadata to improve its accessibility and automated discovery of digitised object misuses.

@evan @fraying @wolf480pl @Gargron @groups Thanks for the news Evan, I imagine that private and fine-grained groups can be a complicated beast if I can share a post with two groups.
@fraying @evan @wolf480pl @Gargron Groups are something I would really like to have. I would like to share pictures of birds with the bird lovers' group, and share pictures of spiders with the spider lovers' group. When living in Denmark, people used Facebook groups a lot, for sport clubs and for the neighborhood. I would have been happy if I could have accessed those groups from my own ActivityPub instance.
