Finally own a hard copy of this #musictherapy text on #improvisation. No more scouring broken PDFs of it I’ve accumulated over the years to reference in supervision with interns and colleagues!

Just finished “Outer Dark” by Cormac McCarthy. What a ride. There’s innocence to be found…and it’s sprinkled with violence and allegory/psychoanalytic content galore.

I love the way he writes. I always enjoy the experience of reading his work, but man…usually very heavy and sometimes uncomfortable to read. There were parts of this book where my whole body was tense and full of grief. The opposite is true for the moments of tenderness.

Clear skies last night in our back yard. Sound on for some musical accompaniment.
