The object of desire has been acquired: the vegan Currywurst is quite nice! It‘s not quite like the one from Curry 36, and the portion is a bit small, but still, huge thumbs up for the ICE @diningcar - hopefully DB decides to keep these after Veganuary.

@timrichards @diningcar The Overland train from Melbourne to Adelaide described this item on the lunch menu as a focaccia. It was OK, light and easy to eat. The dining car is worth a visit for the retro style, but original. Accompanied by a cup of tea, this meal cost about $A10.

This #Munich🇩🇪-#Budapest🇭🇺 #nighttrain was extended with #Timetable2023 to start/finish in #Stuttgart🇩🇪, which majorly simplifies connections to/from #Paris🇫🇷 & #London🇬🇧, given that there are 4-5 direct Paris-Stuttgart ICE- & TGV-trains per day 👍!

🇩🇪🇦🇹🇭🇺🚂🚃🚃🛌 Good morning everyone from a decent sleep on @nighttrain EN 50237 "Kálmán Imre" (#Stuttgart🇩🇪-#Budapest🇭🇺) from #Munich🇩🇪 to #Vienna🇦🇹. We were lucky with staying at the CAF-built non-refurbed #MÁV🇭🇺 "WLABmz" sleeping car 😍.

For breakfast we went traditionally Hungarian with paprika🫑sausage, right before arriving on time 😋! #nighttrain
