🇳🇱 Eindelijk weer met de #trein! Vanmorgen stond de trein van de #SJ klaar in het #station van #Narvik voor de rit over de spectaculaire #Ofotbanen (of #Malmbanan of Ertsspoorlijn) naar Zweden.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Finally back on the track(s)! This morning the SJ #train was ready at Narvik station for the ride on the spectacular Ofotbanen (or Malmbanan or Ore Railway) to Sweden.
🇩🇪 Endlich wieder im #Zug! Heute Morgen stand der SJ-Zug am #Bahnhof Narvik für die Fahrt mit der spektakulären Ofotbanen (oder Malmbanan/Erzbahn) nach Schweden bereit.
🇫🇷 Enfin de retour dans le train ! Ce matin, le train SJ était prêt à la gare de Narvik pour le trajet spectaculaire vers la Suède sur l'Ofotbanen (ou Malmbanan ou chemin de fer du minerai).

C'est un peu ironique que le premier flux régulier sur la voie ferrée qui va au port de La Seyne-sur-Mer transporte des bagnoles, mais au moins ces bagnoles sont désormais pas en camion. 😆

Ahead Of The Front Carriage Is A Diesel Locomotive With The Drivers Cab In the Centre, The Train's Driver Can Be Seen Leaning Out Of The Right Side Window. The Train Track Is Laid On A Narrow, Curving Terrace With A Steep Slope Above On The Left Side And An Equally Steep Slope Falling Away To The Right. The Track Is Curving To The Right Before Turning Sharply To The Left Where Is Disappears From Sight. There Is Little Vegetation To Be Seen, Just A Few Small Stunted And Bare Trees.
The Location Is The Matheran Hill Railway That Runs 21km From Neral To Matheran, 90km East Of Mumbai, India (1990).

A new Finland - Sweden rail link is ready for passengers — but funding is still undecided.

Finland's new rail link to Sweden has been ready for months — but passenger trains won't run until early 2026.

The electrification cost 37 million euros, of which Finland paid 30 million and Sweden seven million. But further funding is needed to start passenger services, and the Finnish government is yet to make a decision on it.
