Bendigo is a major provincial city in central Victoria about 160km north of Melbourne. In 1987 as today, it was served by regular broad gauge VLine passenger trains to and from Melbourne. At that time, one train each day, such as this one, continued further north beyond Bendigo to the Murray River town of Swan Hill.

3D Train Card

Well it was actually a few days ago on May 14th. I am 44 years old and still going strong in Jesus name. Originally I was not planning on doing a post this year for my birthday but my wife got me this really cool card that I just had to share with everyone. Those who know me will understand why I like this card so much.

Through-to-Vancouver heavy rail service is out north of Seattle due to flooding. Scheduled to return Saturday. CascadiaRail to Vancouver, basically.

According to Sound Transit's website, however, Sounder commuter rail service is still scheduled to run at this time. (2:45pm 10 December)
