Another unit of Black Orcs getting ready! Got 4 older metal ones but I think they fit right in with the plastic ones?
Thinking of adding the old Grimgor model as the champion / boss for the unit!

Still have to do something with the boar eyes and maybe highlights? Also went now with a darker brown rim color, might use it for the whole horde. What do you think?

I have couple metal minis of the same look, the plastic ones are slightly thicker but I think they fit ok with the metal versions!
Got older over the weekend! It seems my hobbying is still approved by my other half as got more black orcs for the greenskin horde!
The painting handle is a lot more ergonomic than my diy version :D
Have had too little time for games. But did have a 1k game against Bretonnia!
The heavy calvary hits hard but the black orcs took the hit quite well...
Still loving goblin wolfriders, they are so fast they can be useful to flank archers or warmachines!

@Valheru thanks! I did pin the torso together and put pins in both feet to the base, hopefully it will make it stay together :)
It took 20+ years but finally this model is getting some paint and gametime!
As a kid this was a daunting model to start and super happy I still had it. Now it can lead my green horde!

@erikcats thanks! Had to "a few" so used masking tape! Did add some wear and tear so they would not pop too much.
Painting terrain is nice change from armies. They feel faster to do and its fun to expand my terrain sets. Using these mostly for Kill team!
ITD wall pieces with doors got stripes. Hopefully now its easier to see where the doors are when playing.
@pixelworship yeah! The Soulblight were the first models I started to use the guilliman combo. I try to get this look as I think its easy to do and looks good :)

Black primer + rough metal drybrush + guilliman contrast pooling randomly + silver drybrush, has been ny goto rusted metal for a long time now!
Havent used any pigments though! Maybe I should try and up my rusted metals :)
Was also able to get some Kill Team games in a local con a while back!
Really liking the ruleset and hope the game wont change too much in the future....

Kitbashed battle standard bearer for my orc horde!
Took the flag from the boyz and used a spear from a orc boss kit foe the stick. Had to cut and fill the arms to get them to fit.
Still have to figure out the emblem / icon for the flag....

Base layers getting done on the crew and also added the texture paints to the base!

First chariot getting some late night painting last night. Had one and the battalion set had two more so converting one for a orc boss!
Base coats kinda, next step is a wash and then layering brighter shades.

At least other old world stuff like heroes have been ok priced, so hoping these would be too...
