Laying down more colour blocks on various bits of terrain I still haven't finished, a pair of Plasma Generatorium from a recent Kill Team set, some heavy machinery bodies from a previous edition, along with a container. Imperial Fists Yellow contrast is a beautiful paint, especially over a zenithal base coat.

A pair of Plasma Generatorium on a cutting mat with core base colours applied. The rear generatorium is painted in Akhelian Green (actually a blue) and the front one in Imperial Fist yellow. All the metalwork and the plasma coils needs to the painted.

A wider shot of the two Plasma Generatorium on a cutting mat along with some additional terrain features around. There's two engines and a crane assembly in Iron Fists yellow as well as some scatter terrain of fallen statues, mostly blocked out in a mix of Akhelian Green and Leviadon Blue before I dry-brush them bronze and add some verdigris. All the metalwork still needs to be done.

It was probably too hot to be spraying primer yesterday, but hopefully I can style out the imperfections on the terrain as general wear and tear!

A set of primed sprues laid out on a dust sheet on a garden table: Some fallen statues scatter terrain in black and desert sands, 2 plasma generatorium in black and a nurgle Miasmic Malignifier in rotting flesh. There's also some cranes and machinery in white and steel.

continuing on with my all-metal Retro Inquisition Kill Team, we have a finished "Mystic" (Necromunda Wyrd), "Tome Skull" (Cherub Familiar), "Pistolier" (Necromunda Scum) and "Questkeeper" (Inquisition Heirophant Henchman). extremely happy with the ongoing progress on these, only two more to go!! then get ready for insufferable group photos!!!

Here it is, my Kill Team's first warband, the Wrecka Krew.

At the end it took me around 85hrs to complete. More or less my average.

Games Workshop's Kill Team warband "Wrecka Krew". Hand painted. It is a sci-fi themed group of 8 miniatures. 6 of them are orks, wearing a black armour. Some of them have pistols and rocket launchers, some others meelee weapons. Additionally there are 2 red squigs porting bombs and granades with their mouth.

A Ratling sniper painted up today. It's been a while since I've painted any Hobbits, so I thought this was close....

And so my first ever evening of airbrushing ends. I‘ve primed two pieces of Volkus terrain and worked on two Vespids: One for figuring out the body and one for the wings. All WIP.
So far I‘m not sure I‘m loving the process of using an airbrush, but I really do like the results. It’s hard to see on the picture but the color blending from purple to turquoise is way smoother than what I can do with a brush currently.
