Are there any #parentalControls on the #fediverse like #mastodon or #matrix ? I am considering using matrix for text messaging, but this is one of the things I couldn't find any information about #fedihelp

@stfn here in the Netherlands we usually have the value around 50%, but with the large amount of clouded windless days we powered our gas powerplants. Resulting in a number around 10-20% and depleting the national gas reserves fast

@amd This is a game changing feature for to do lists with chores on them. I use Todoist for this reason (and the easy adding of tasks). But it has syncing issues every 2 or 3 months and the only way to reset it is by re-logging in, losing all changes since. I hope you find a great alternative

After contributing to #openstreetmap with #streetcomplete , I've started using #organicMaps for a couple of trips. It works very well. It gave me the same routes as Google maps and located a supermarket and ATM correctly. It did have some trouble with route suggestions when the marker was just off. But at least I didn't get any alternative routes that are 20 minutes longer. I almost forgot the biggest advantage: everything works offline!

@lothaekor reolink should work local only, but for recordings etc. You need something like frigate

@ralfrandom when mounting S3 or compatible do consider the fact that every command will generate api requests to the S3 bucket, with large directories in combination with pagination it could result in a pricy storage fast. Just imagine running grep on a ton of files.
