After researching, watching videos, procrastinating, watching more videos, talking to friends, drinking lots of coffee, and did even more procrastinating, I removed leaky caps from a #MacClassic system board! This was my first attempt at removing caps from a board. Not too bad.
Dealing with C2 and C8 are going to be “fu”n. 🤣😇

The Kaypro 2/84 has been a bigger challenge than I anticipated due to its leaky TEC FB-501 floppy drives. I think I know what the problems are at this point, so let's see if we can get this last drive working with the help of my IBM 5150. I was traveling for a week and intended to work on CDROM support for #PicoGUS while on the road but forgot the charger for my Pocket386, whoops. Now I'm home. Back in the day I liked how the opening FMV in Return to Zork called back to the original text adventures while saying LOOK AT OUR CD POWER
My workshop is too full, so I need to get some stuff ready to sell at MIT Swapfest this weekend.
