ISP IPv6 Support Database

There is now a simple online database of service providers, listing whether IPv6 is supported (by default or optionally) and if so - cataloguing various metrics such as prefix delegation size etc.

Useful for selecting a temporary simcard when travelling, or when selecting a new ISP etc.

Currently the database is small, but soliciting additional information/feedback.

TL;DR #IPv6 Privacy ist keine Verpflichtung nach DSGVO und die Switch2 kontaktiert auch nur Ihre Server, sie sehen kein Problem.

@bfdi wie war das nochmal mit IP Adressen sind Personenmerkmale?Die #Switch2 hat einen permanten Identifier als Teil der IP Adresse und ist daher in jedem Netz trackbar und eineindeutig zu identifizieren.

Nevertheless as hallunke was talking about their website I posted about this.

I have a excellent ISP which is provideing proper IPv6 services but the website and customer portal -> IPv4only. 😞

@hallunke23 @q They do have AAAA RRs for the apex domain but no AAAA for the webserver www, where you are redirected.
Additionallysome of the secondary services and JS providers are not enabled. If you are a customer, the portal is #IPv4only. Sadly.

Ein deutscher Heizungshersteller bietet ein IoT Connector für seine Heizungen/Wärmepumpen an. Dieser kann DualStack (yeah) allerdings EUI64 GUA (😭 ).
DNS ist #IPv4only A/AAAA Queries und im Moment sind alle Endpunkt für APIs #IPv4only weil #azure

Was können wir tun, damit #lwIP #RFC7217 #RFC8981 kann?

Thank you for your insight.

As the probe tests Google, Facebook and Wikipedia and the AS is a regional ISP I suspected that the latency to those destinations are a tad higher.
