Those roaming regulations are great and I love them! I was in France when SMS roaming regulations came into force. Had to pay 39ct per text when I arrived. When I left, it was down to ~9 cents.
Buuut I still have a question:
When will there be compulsory #IPv6 support in data roaming? There are several networks that turn off #IPv6 while roaming. Some even lack #IPv6 entirely.
My mail server is #IPv6only which means that I don't have access to my e-mails while roaming!
@kasperd For all the reasons you've described, I've avoided #Docker in any new deployment of mine. But my choice of Nerdctl seems hamstrung by limited parity with Docker features, and also mainly only supporting Legacy IP without substantial acrobatics.
I wanted to use Docker/Nerdctl Compose for smaller deployments, but I'm beginning to think that #k3s might be the way to go, as #k8s harbors no baggage that prevents #IPv6only operation and uses CNI plugins and Linux network primitives sanely.
To celebrate the #IPv6 Day, I’m launching my #FreeSoftware KISS #Zettelkasten notes manager #Razeka on #IPv6only. 😀
There are still some features I’m going to add, but it already does the job, I wanted it to do, nicely. 🙂
If you can load the following domain, you have working IPv6 and a DNS resolver that has IPv6 support.
breaking news
(I have to confess apple is sometimes good)
given a #IPv6only mobile access (like the Deutsche Telekom within Germany, not during roaming)
recent apple #iOS 18.5
makes
#IPv6mostly for clients via hotspot
#dhcpoption108 as well #pref64
I made also the windows test - in case option 108 is not provided by the client, iOS provides IPv4

unfortunately with geoff huston
but also with some positive prospect:
@tschaefer Hmm, betreibe ein älteres #Zyxel Modell. Management #IPv6only funktioniert wunderbar.
Kann kein RFC7217 aber sonst ok.
