You've all been so supportive this year I can't help but plan a new release for
the new year! Over the next few weeks we'll be testing, merging and documenting
the changes, fixes and new features coming to Bastille in 2023. #FreeBSD
@mike always selfhosting
I do apologize, as I am failing hard to keep my inner child at bay...
FEBRUARI IS GOING TO BE AWESOMMMMEEEE! A weekend at #HackerHotel :flan_hacker: and the next day rocking the great Commodore overlord @MASTERBOOTRECORD in Nijmegen :flan_metal: :flan_guitar:
This level of awesomeness might cause a buffer overflow or kernel panic. We'll see!
Writing an elaborate piece about Telegram has proven to be quite a challenge. It is a rabbithole so deep...
The very short tl;dr: it takes 'being the worst' to completely new depths. Stay miles away from it.
@brnrd Thank you kindly for checking it out and for reaching out. I owe you a beer or two!
@brnrd If you can, please do. Definitely interested! Will keep an eye on my messages.
$ gem install specific_install
$ gem specific_install -l https://github.com/ruby/openssl.git
Compiles against LibreSSL without any issue. Grab a cup of coffee and patiently await the gem succesfully compiling.
@brnrd OMG! Where did you find that ring?
Sorting out why the openssl v3.0.1
RubyGem wouldn't work on OpenBSD was a hellish job. The --with-openssl-dir
option didn't work, because it expected a Linux path. Aaarrrgghhh!
The repo version (3.1.0.pre
) fixes it. Took me way too long to discover that.
Android 13 QPR1 fixed the issues we reported with hardware-based attestation via the secure element for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
Our Auditor app can now make full use of the bleeding edge hardware-based attestation features on these devices.

@me Please see the virtual vacation in the opensmtpdadmin repo: https://git.high5.nl/opensmtpdadmin/tree/VIRTUAL_VACATION
Might offer some insights in setting this up :)
@jilles_com That sticker 'TOTALLY CYBER APPROVED' is the icing on the (cyber)cake :flan_XD:
