@NinaBernstein1 We must not forget where the Nazis got their inspiration: Jim Crow. The Nuremburg Laws were emulating American segregation. The Nazis sent their people over to the US to learn the system.

Abusers are not a species or neurotypology.

Abusers are not ontologically evil or mentally ill.

Abusers are an expected and even necessary product of a system of oppression that values some people and utterly de-values others.

There is no rebellion against the status quo that holds space for abusers, makes excuses for them.

There is no liberation that keeps abusers feeling more comfortable in your spaces than their targets.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

If you have real concerns about the future under Trump, making gloating into a sport is not going to win allies who want to avert that future.

Try the phrase "It seems like you feel lied to." instead of "I told you so."

The question to those who voted for Trump now is not the sardonic "are you happy?"

We need to start asking, "Is this what you wanted?"

A lot of people voted for Trump, many are not happy; they believed some fragment of what they heard Trump say.

Try to make it easy for them to come around.

These Santa Maria area H2-A farm workers are harvesting spinach. They tell us: It's hard work because we need to bend over all day long. Spinach is so small. By the end of the day our backs ache. #WeFeedYou

#Humanizing #outcasts (as #people is blasphemy to a #caste system. It's an assault on the very structure of a #society built on the backs of other people.

A hacker developed an "infinite maze" to trap web-crawlers/scrapers from AI companies

basically, if the server code detects that a web crawler from an AI firm is trying to scrape the site ...

... the code begins spinning up an infinite, nesting warren of new sham pages, filled with random text

so the crawler gets stuck crawling and scraping endless and meaningless pages

As a retired #automotive #engineer and an avid #cyclist, I can say EV's reduce carbon footprint in operation and have the potential of reducing it in a future. BUT EV's require mining and manufacturing and that still assaults the environment. What is really needed is more human infrastructure: #bike paths and #pedestrian friendly spaces. And #EBikes provide far more #carbon bang for the buck than EV's ever will.
