Of #S_T_Gill's Series of #Adelaide Views in the 1840s, the ones still viewable today are Trinity Church, Government House, the Gaol and (I think) the Catholic Chapel.

In 1955, archaeologists made a groundbreaking discovery on Easter Island that transformed the understanding of the island’s iconic Moai statues. Careful excavation revealed that many of these giant figures actually possess sizeable, detailed bodies buried beneath layers of soil and sediment. This finding shed new light on the craftsmanship and cultural significance of the Moai, showing that they were complete statues rather than just isolated heads.
