knowledge management is where I have my professional focus on. I have a broad interest in the subject and love to use cool technology. However, it's the people and culture aspect I feel most drawn too.

I used to rely on YouTube Premium to listen to videos like podcasts with my phone locked. That stopped working with the free version. Found a simple workaround: just open the video in the Brave browser - the audio keeps playing even when the phone is locked.
Experimenting with generating an interactive visualization based on simple HTML/Javascript. Supported by GitHub Copilot this seems like a doable approach so far.
How do you visualize your organization's tool/tech landscape? Many tools fit multiple categories (AI, collaboration, employee engagement, etc.). No one-size-fits-all - context matters. I’m looking for ways to show overlaps, maturity & value visually. Anyone found good ways to do this? Let’s share!

Started to get some first sense of agent development by watching Tina Huang's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUPjbWsSe7s. She does a walkthrough of n8n, an automation platform for building your own AI agents, showcasing a Telegram frontend and Google Calendar integration. While I see the potential of these custom agents, I'm still figuring out workflows where I would benefit.
Just discovered how easy it is to set up a #MicrosoftLists list using term sets managed at the site level. I'm putting it to work for portfolio management - collecting ideas and categorizing them with consistent metadata. #SharePoint #Productivity #PortfolioManagement
Just came across an interesting psychological model called Spiral Dynamics. Spiral Dynamics is a model mapping the evolution of human consciousness and value systems. It uses colors for the various stages. Here an introduction video which is quite insightful: https://youtu.be/lLhlgUtwvVU
With the latest image generation and editing upgrades from Google and OpenAI - plus the launch of Reve - it feels like the "good enough" bar has finally been crossed for nearly all my personal image generation use cases. Wild.

Started to use #PlantUML for GANTT diagram creation. Super simple and powerful. Still working to find a prompt for generating the PlantUML code out of a MS Planner plan CSV export.
Marco Odermatt isn’t just dominating the slopes - he’s also crushing the myth of knowledge hiding! When Odi works out loud, everyone wins. Who knew sharing your ski secrets with your teammates could lead to such a team success? #KnowledgeSharing #WorkingOutLoud
@simondueckert I'm not sure I'm following you. My idea is to keep notes on various terms (like external references) in a single markdown file when there isn’t much content to warrant separate files. Think of it like having the ubiquitous language for one bounded context, as in DDD. These terms are unique only within their own file, so they might appear multiple times across my vault. What I want is that the file would appear when searching for the term - similar to searching an alias.
Doing some cleanups in my own PKM system, I rediscovered this article on four characteristics of modern collaboration tools: https://ben.balter.com/2015/11/18/tools-to-empower-open-collaboration/.
Nearly a decade old, yet still spot on. Meanwhile, SharePoint still struggles with linkable content. 🤷♂️ #Collaboration
Hey #obsidian community: I'm exploring a new idea. Instead of having separate files for every defined term in a domain, I’m compiling all the terms into a single Markdown file dedicated to that domain’s vocabulary. My goal is to quickly look up these terms via indexed search in the “find or create note…” screen. However, I don’t want to misuse the aliases property to achieve this.
Has anyone come across a plugin or workaround that lets custom content or properties be indexed for rapid lookup?
I am considering Jitsi Meet to host online meetings. I don't need recordings, just a place to chat for a global audience. But it requires a sign-in to get an advance meeting URL.
Google — No
Facebook — No
GitHub — seems like only option but not that great. I would only create an account on GitHub to use with Jitsi. Is that a problem?
@cogneon coole Visualisierung!
Just tried a quick experiment with the "AI Coach" feature in LinkedIn Learning. I tested the "Role Play" mode, which simulates a conversation using audio instead of chat - nice touch!
However, my AI conversation partner felt a bit off for the scenario - showing too much leadership, making it less realistic. Also, it hilariously misread my name, calling me January ("I appreciate the comment, January" 😅).
That said, I do like how it analyzes the conversation afterward. #LinkedInLearning
Just noticed that my go-to comparison of MS Teams channel types (from Microsoft's official docs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-channels-overview) is outdated. Shared Channels now support "Tags" and "Copy link to channel".
Does anyone know of a more accurate and regularly updated comparison? #MicrosoftTeams
