I'm moving off mastodon.social and onto mas.to, on case anyone is interested. The new account is @jimkennedy@mas.to, and afaik the migration is kind of seamless in terms of followers/following etc.

Puigdemont has said that if he wins the election, set for May 12, he will return to #Catalonia for the investiture despite running the risk of immediate arrest by #Spain. In theory, the new amnesty law in Spain and his position as an MEP should protect him. In practice, however, he remains public enemy number one for the powers behind the powers in Spain, and they will happily flout any legality to get their way.

It's a massive political and personal gamble he's taking.

@winslowjosiah I'm trying to move away from wp, and #jekyll is a fun rabbit hole so far. There's also Hugo and 11ty, which seem to be more the recent crop of tools beyond Jekyll. Either way, the holy grail seems to be about having mostly just markdown and image files, thereby making your content always portable.
