@moira @oheso @daihard @ascentale @bikenite Have you ever tried a vertical mouse? I love my logitec mx vertical. For a while I also used a stylus with a drawing pad.

This is incredibly beautiful storytelling.
We’ve heard Mayor Johnston is proposing to reduce bicycle funding in our upcoming GO Bond by 95%!!! That means hardly any new bike lanes in #Denver for the next decade.
@kenwhite.bsky.social Could also be Mike Lindell on a murder spree. He was just in Colorado for his defamation trial.
happy spacex blew up their entire texas launch facility day for those who celebrate
@violetblue I’m so sorry Violet and Sammy.
Guess who plopped himself down in the bedroom the last time I let him explore the house?
@Creech just voted.
Family got me this awesome Murderbot t-shirt for Father's day.
@Lyle The owner of a pub came to us (the city council planners) and said "I need to close this pub to build a block of flats on the site". We said "no, we don't want that pub closed." They said "but look at all that space given over to the car park, that's just a cost to us."
So we said "we're perfectly happy for you to build a block of flats on the car park - we don't want people driving home from the pub anyway, the pub doesn't need a car park."
Result: The site now contains a pub and a block of flats. And some bicycle parking spaces for the pub's customers, which take up vastly less space than the previous car park.
Waymos, like all drivers, treat the bike lane as buffer zone. it was only a matter of time before somebody got hurt https://www.mercurynews.com/2025/06/10/san-francisco-bicyclist-crash-waymo/
@Tattie From this company you can buy their battery pack and the appropriate adapter for your tool. https://ceenr.com/product/pdnation-4ah-universal-battery-system/ No affiliation, but I've read other's reviews.
@mntmn If it hadn’t been for GPIO
I’d have no blinky lights to show
Where did you come from, where did you go?
Where did you come from, GPIO?
It’s kind of hard to watch For All Mankind because the arc of someone getting into trouble for giving the Russians space secrets is so.. dated, even funny now
@bsidesboulder @mediaarchaeologylab They also had a Colecovision with an expansion module I didn’t recognize. This despite having one with an Adam expansion module that was my first PC. The expansion module seen here actually accepts Atari 2600 cartridges.
A fun thing I got to do between the excellent @bsidesboulder camp and their happy hour was a tour of the @mediaarchaeologylab including this switch board phone from the East German Stasi HQ.
I know this is going to be a big weekend for many. Here’s a backlog of photos I’ve taken over the last two weeks for when you need a moment of calm.

@smellsofbikes In the case of Denver the fair is permitted for Veterans Memorial Park from 12-4. the march is after that. https://mobilize.us/s/6cWDTh
@bobjonkman @theantlady @ascentale @bikenite I highly recommend this tool-free, reusable link from Connex. https://connexchain.com/en/connectors/detail/connex-link For the longest time they only made them for up to 11 speed, but the 12 speed version is finally available. Yes I know Campy now has 13 speed.
@gcvsa @ascentale @theantlady @bikenite Do it. The only extra step I’ll recommend if you don’t already have re-usable chain links is one of these for each chain: https://connexchain.com/en/connectors/detail/connex-link There’s now a 12 speed version too.
@smellsofbikes can you rent a wheel chair from a medical supply company? when i had a stress fracture I rented a knee scooter from one of those places that i rode waaay too fast.
