@SexyCyborg Found it answered in the matching twitter thread. It's Razer Zephyr mask that is not recommended by Naomi despite them having done multiple things right. Also Razer does not claim them being an N95 nor being a PPE on their website. It looks cool though :)

@SexyCyborg what is the light up one? They are all good, but this one is just awesome!

I'd love to do a video on emerging mask tech. Not to tell people to mask up, just show better mask options for those that want it and need it- but even that can't be accepted. This specific type of medtech- masks, being used by anyone, anywhere just enrages people.

@farewell_ladmin I went for an "online" ups back in the day, the one that always rectifies the current before generating the 120v sine again. It promises seamless switchover in case of power failure as well as always perfect sine wave for your equipment. And it does. One thing I realized too late however is that by doing that double conversion it adds 100W to the 200W computer that it's protecting, 24x7. With that equation I now simply go for a basic APC BackUPS and that's more than enough for my home needs. I also do 2 different UPSes for my redundant equipment.

@projectdp @r3pek I'm running just 2 vlans in my small home proxmox cluster (int, ext) with openwrt based home router acting as a smart switch. But I've seen vxlans widely used with Docker and k8s for their flexibility and also to not depend on the underlying network setup. Glad this came to proxmox now.

@aikensource why would 1password or bitwarden be better? Do you feel like they make more effort to protect their network? Or is there something different in their architecture that would make end user better off should such leak happen there?

@projectdp @r3pek bridges are local but then you could always add a tagged physical interface to every bridge and then have vlans that span through the cluster. But you'd have to configure your physical switch to know about every such vlan.

With VXLAN you can have a flat no-vlan network between the nodes, and then only use software to configure a complex network.

Another benefit - VXLAN connects across the nodes even in different data centers as long as you have any (routed, firewalled, wan) connectivity between your hypervisors.

@planet4589 what's that magical pixie dust falling from that rocket?

@SexyCyborg Thank you for reposting here.

@biffbiffbiff I jumped on Proxmox a while ago and still going strong. Powered by Debian and KVM under the hood, comes with nice web ui and cli. Clusters well if you have more than one box. And offers zfs or ceph for storage. All for free (though they have corporate support available) Happy camper here. :)

@nova imagine for a second this was his plan all along when buying Twitter? For the sake of open world? - Nahh...
