Der #Mond zeigt uns immer dieselbe Seite, lernen wir. Doch wenn man genau hinsieht, ist es nicht ganz so. Da taumelt er etwas hin und her. Der Fachbegriff dafür ist #Libration. Das Diagramm zeigt den dem Beobachter nächsten Punkt auf der Mondoberfläche im Februar 2026 in Mondkoordinaten mit der kleineren täglichen Veränderung und dem größeren monatlichen Verlauf.
Our eyes do such a great job selectively compensating for such a bright object without messing everything else up. The camera is like, "what do you want to see: normal sky/stars and blown out moon, or a nice moon and everything else underexposed?"
