That’s it. That’s the post. Quite possibly the most oniony thing that could ever happen.

The fact that everyone who voted for Trump is now just understanding how tariffs work concerns me.
great indication on how the next 4 years are gonna go.
33 years ago today a little project called Linux is announced.
For anyone interested, I’ve been messing with Claude and xCode to see how far I can get with developing an app
Its a shift tracking app for hourly employees that let them add, remove and edit shifts.I have yet to find a good ap that adheres to apple Apple Human Interface Design Guidelines and take advantage of iOS features.
I added to github under MIT license so feel free to contribute or make it into something bigger.
I don't know if anyone else has ran into this but Anthropic has some horrible front end optimization with 3.5 Sonnet. I’ve been messing around with it doing some coding with Swift and after maybe 10 chats back and forth its using a ton of memory and slows to a crawl.
@pixelfed just a FYI, the latest testflight of the app seems to be crashing on startup for me. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue.
It happened when I logged into the app. before that the app opened fine.
Hey @Ivory, noticed a bug when you have multiple columns and use the app in full screen. the columns don't resize properly and the far right one get cut off on my 14in MBP.
this is only a problem on the macs built-in screen. when I use it on my 31in widescreen monitor the columns don’t get cut off and scale properly to the screen.
I'll send a feedback email with all the logs too. the screenshot doesn’t show it but the far right column only shows half of it when in full screen.
Just got a curved 1440p monitor for the first time and I have no idea why i didn’t do it sooner.
@millions thanks I’ll check the web version! Hopefully it translates to the apps if it does work.
The world needs another Bell Labs.
Mastodon app question. I use @ivory and one of the features I use is when you add an account to a list you can mute it from your home feed so you only see it in the list.
Is there a way to do this in other apps? Is this feature exclusive to @ivory? Could I do this in @mammoth? If I can I just might be missing the option.
Amidst a sea of mediocre equivocating headlines, Rolling Stone nailed it.
