I'm at sustainable house day, showing our electric vehicle off as part of AEVA's partnership with SHD. And I've talked to the two woman architectural partnership that designed this home and set up business on their own after working in an architectural firm.
These are the women who want and need that opportunity to work from home. And they've been successful because of it.
These are the women who see the LNP wanting to crack down on working from home as a threat to their working life.
That's why I think Dutton's announcement and then backflip over working from home was the big point that decided the election against the LNP.
Dear #auspost , I DO NOT WANT your #DigitaliD service.
I should not need your shitty service to add my phone number.
I should not need your shitty service to add my address, or set a collection post office, or collection locker.
Don't wonder why people prefer other services, just try to use your own.
@cazabon He did - violence to vintage instructions :@
I dunno how many tens or hundreds of millions of dollars Clive Palmer pissed away on his cringeworthy election campaign, but he got nothing back for it — no Parliament seats, no perks for big mining companies, no influence, no friends.

Did you get bothered by Clive Palmer trombone of pathetic? Then sign this petition to stop politicians being exempt from spam regulations:

Happy #DraculaDaily season to those who celebrate 🦇
@koolhand Most countries vote on weekends, the US, Canada and the UK are a bit of an exception with their Tuesday and Monday voting.
But Australian preferential voting is really really great, we should so steal that here in Germany.
How great is the Australian political system? Smiling people. Weekend voting. Pre-poll voting widely accepted and not politicised. Preferential voting. An independent national Electoral Commission. Compulsory voting. The secret ballot.
Patient, civic-minded volunteers! Well-managed vote counting and scrutineers! Lots of polling places with short queues! Vote in your swimmers! Take your dog to the polling booth! Democracy dogs! Democratic sausages!
I still think we do this better than anyone. Pat yourselves on the back, Australia. #auspol #australia #straya
I tend to think that the Greens are taking on the primal role the Democrats had - to keep the bastards honest
@hugh dark kitchen lmao it's literally any barbecue and dollar snags, sauce, and bread. Imagine being so unpatriotic you order a bougie one from a dark kitchen and force some underpaid immigrant to deliver it. Actually that sounds pretty on par these days
Just walked past the Uber Eats dark kitchen “democracy sausage pickup zone” and if we can regulate what’s allowed to be called “Anzac” we can regulate what’s allowed to be called a “democracy sausage”. I’m not even shitposting.
Someone work up this morning and chose violence.
Does this really look like the kind of #bunny #rabbit mouth that would remove part of the front page from the #legostarwars instructions?
How could you suggest such a thing!
Capitalism didn't give us the internet.
Large-scale cooperation, open protocols, and free software gave us the internet. Capitalism gave us mobile sites that don't work because fifteen ads cover the screen.
