Modhera solar village in Gujarat is a good example. They even managed a price point ($1.6 million/MW) much lower than my pessimistic estimate ($3 million/MW).
1MW solar (with 5MWh battery) costs $3 million.
$6 billion (INR 500 billion) can hence pay for 2GW solar.
That's 1% of installed coal power capacity of ~200GW. Private investments & businesses can put in funds 5-10x that annual spending. Chipping off 5% a year reaches zero coal in 20 years.

Cutting down drastically on coal subsidies would perhaps be a good starting point to fund the required energy transition. It also helps that solar is now the cheapest form of electricity in all of human history.
At 786 gCO2eq/kWh, eastern India's carbon intensity of electricity is abysmal. It's only marginally better for the rest of India.

The Open Power Electronics or βOpelexβ project began in 2015 with the objective of giving engineering students exposure to #PowerElectronics, and with a special focus on free and open-source tools, practices, and materials.
@corruptian The real revelation was that such bullshit jobs are present as much, if not more, in the private sector as in the government sector.

Main takeaway:
While official #unemployment numbers in a 'healthy' #economy is 3-8%, the real numbers (considering the phenomenon of bullshit jobs) is 50-60%.
