Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal because it’s almost always found too late.

Apparently I'm still struggling with having kindness in my life sometimes. Over the decades, I got _way_ too used to feeling unworthy of love, and that's a hard thing to unlearn.

Have you had that "Upcoming price change for your Microsoft 365 subscription" email yet? They want to charge you an extra 50%ish for AI features, and they do *not* make it easy to find the way to turn it off. It took me minutes of searching - this is a particularly evil dark pattern.
"Switch plan" just lets you pick between annual and monthly billing. You want "Turn off recurring billing" and then "Current subscription without AI".

This is how out-of-control my collecting of crochet, knit, and plush friends has become! The rest of the collection has filled capacity elsewhere in my home. A few more friends can squish into one remaining shelf here. Each one brings me such delight.
They are organised into groups as much as possible, given their size, e.g., food, dinosaurs, octopi, bees, turtles, birds, frogs, cats, dogs, axolotls, chameleons, bees, wombats, snails, & rabbits.
I am once again asking that if you are talking specifically about people whose NEUROTYPES/NEUROLOGY DIVERGE from the most common (e.g. autistic people, ADHD people, dyslexic people, etc), you do not say neurodiverse, and instead say NEURODIVERGENT.
NEURODIVERSE should only be used if you want to talk about all types of people INCLUDING NEUROTYPICAL PEOPLE.

i made a comment one day about the single stall washrooms in my faculty’s building being gendered and how ridiculous that was
she fought for that to be changed with much pushback from the business faculty (and won)
and she pushed for that further around campus after that change
and she mentioned to me today how, when designing the new building on campus, they made ALL the washrooms gender neutral because of HER push on this topic
i never told her to advocate for me, she never wanted credit for these actions (they silently changed and i only heard about them later in natural convo), she just heard me and acted with what power she had to advocate for change

A huge point of ableism in school is the scheduling. No matter how interested I am in a subject, if I can't learn it at the rate the class is being taught I fall behind am left out. Even when you can keep up it is uncomfortable.
We must build a world where we teach based on progress, not time.
