It’s cool how when you’re writing one day you feel so happy and awesome and the next day you’re pretty sure you’re a slug with bad punctuation masquerading as a writer.

@authorclirwin this is helpful! I feel like I keep ending up with too many initial folders anytime I try to organize it, so it’s good to know how other people start and then branch out. I appreciate you taking the time to reply so thoughtfully!

@spacetrash yes, exactly! Exploring creative constraints has changed me as a writer in the best way. It’s a mind set shift. Now, I go about my days being like “ooo! That could be a cool constraint!”

@authorclirwin Yeah, more electronically. I feel like everything gets lost in the computer and I’d love for everything to just be printed out but with editing that’s just not possible. So, I’m trying to figure out how to best organize my Google Drive (i.e. what folders to create for order when I don’t necessarily have an assigned project for a lot of it *yet*)

@SJHoodlet this week I dove pretty deep into the history of the subconscious and last week it was tectonic plates… 😅 writing is certainly never boring
