I usually try to avoid photographing during the midday Sun as it creates harsh shadows and brings out new challenges. But this time, I embraced it! When you position yourself against the Sun, the light reflects through the petals, and gorgeous background bokeh is created through this process ✨⁠

We're turning our clocks an hour forward this night, which means the evenings will be brighter now and the Sun will set later. I'm so happy about this change; it feels much more like Summer already! Another bonus is later golden hours without needing to hurry going out right as work ends 😄⁠

The Golden Trio 💛 I had a goal during this photo walk - to find unique sceneries of Winter aconites and other Spring flowers I have already photographed in the previous photo walk. I decided to go for compositions with more than one flower in the scene. These three small yellow blooms stood out so well against all the rest and became my photo model 🥰⁠

I'm enjoying the focus bracketing feature on my Sony a7 IV. When combined with the FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS lens, I can get so much detail in these small Spring flowers by combining the photos through focus stacking ✨
