A couple of months ago I told myself that I'd buy @markherman54 's Pacific War only when I'm done writing my PhD dissertation. I submitted my (pre)final draft two days ago and got this yesterday. After a night of reading the rules, I'm putting it on the table for the 1st scenario: Pearl Harbor. Pretty excited to take a little break while exploring these new seas. Also, I'm gonna need a bigger table. #HexesForever #gmt

A great game of Sekigahara this afternoon versus @markherman54

As Tokugawa I took an early resource and castle lead, but nearly lost Tokugawa himself in battle. I retained my edge, winning a huge action on the central highway, but Mark edged me 14-13 with a successful last-turn siege.

Terrific fun - I'm still a little lost strategy-wise but the mists are receding.

I finally managed to get #PacificWar off the shelf. Hadn't touched it in months. Will have to play a few engagement scenarios to refresh the rules. This is the #PearlHarbor scenario.

Using this reply to thank everyone who followed me on this site. Is there an app for it? Not sure, Twitter was more intuitive to navigate. I guess that is why it was so successful before the current meltdown.
