@chiquiesteban a) you can follow anyone in the Fediverse b) you can toot about anything that is within the terms of service and being on a particular server does imply a common set of interests but we all wear lots of hats… when you post media (pics/video) it is requested that you include alt/txt to make your toots accessible to screen readers; also make sure to use 2FA with your login… I believe that about covers it! LOL Enjoy!

How many of you #rstats #rstudio users have edited/created a book as a #Quarto document using RStudio as your editing platform? Am I the only one having difficulty with callouts/blocks of text and formatting? Should I switch to #Jupyter notebooks? Most of my code blocks will consist of #LaTeX code

@Rachael Hi Rachael I too rank Yesterday’s Enterprise in the top 3 of #StarTrek #TNG but as series go, I thought #DS9 was the best of the best; with that in mind, there is a tie for favorite between “Duet” which featured my favorite character Kira Nerys, and “The Visitor”; both episodes in my view are quintessential Trek (But there are so many, right?) #scifi

Grateful to @amelia for suggesting this mastodon instance - I felt oddly uneasy and not just a small bit of discomfort with the idea of having to meet/greet/follow new people in a new social network.
